The more I think of this, the more I'd like to see a movie that really chronicled the Felix Mitchell story. "New Jack City" was cool, but I'd like to see a movie set and filmed in Oakland, main character named Felix Mitchell, the whole bit. A movie that stays true to the story would be really interesting I think. Soundtrack could have old 80's Oakland rap, etc...

Could be interesting.

i second that one!!!! i doubt it would happen tho it would have to be local production,there we be no love for this project outside the bay....

I think there could be interest outside the Bay. Shit, all sorts of movies based on true stories blow up. As long as it's a big budget type deal with a big star. I mean shit, "New Jack City" was a pretty big movie. That was based on Felix's story, just juiced up.

Shit, I don't know about that^^. I don't know anything about movie making other than strugglin' through tryin' to write one right now. Writin' a script is a lot harder than I thought. I can think of the scenes in my head, but actually coming up with believable dialogue is harder than it seems.

If I knew some Hollywood type cats I'd pitch the idea to 'em though. I bet some studio would be interested. I think it could be a good flick.

Get JT, it can be another get low film heh, well JT is in contact with spike lee at the moment if I'm not correct, he can prob pitch the idea to him, I'd really like to see a movie bout Felix, I never heard of him before other then this post, so it would be kool to know some more about him...
