Thats no excuse...if he's too old and brittle to block he shouldnt be playing. 99% of the players in the NFL would not hit low in the legs like that. Yes I agree dude should keep his head on a swivel. But not to avoid a cheap shot to the knee.
if that statement was true then there wouldnt be fines every week givin to players for "dirty" hits
The block was stupid but not dirty or cheap

I'm not sayin Favre is a dirty or cheap player. He DID make a stupid black in which was a cheap block. Favre has never done anything to make me think he is a dirty player, but like you said, it was stupid. Its one out of MANY that will take place this year. The only reason its gettin blown up is because of Favres status right now.

bunch of geniuses over there in MN putting Favre in the Wild Cat offense.

Too bad he didn't die.
favre is a bitch and plays like a fuckin coward sometimes. people ride his dick tho and i think it's pathetic.

too bad none of the d-line got a head to head with that fuckin punk.

someone should take him the fuck out this season. just cause of how he's been actin with the whole i dont' wanna play now i do, oh wait i'm gonna retire, oh just kidding i want to play now.

he's a fruit cake.

I don't think he meant to injure Eugiene Wilson, it's just the fact that Favre is an inexperienced blocker and bitched out to hit him/block him str8 up so he went down like a bitch instead, turned his back and ended up hitting him low.

Anyways, LOL at getting injured by Brett Favre. hahaha

^^^ever heard of a "chop block"
A delayed block made at or below the knees while the player being blocked is in contact with the blocker's teammate.... That block Favre did was not a chop block.

So once again I am left wondering how it is illegal to hit someone in the legs. I thought football was a contact sport. If you can't handle a block from the ancient Favre you have no business being in the NFL.
