i just wanna start a thread for a list of your favorite equipment or a piece that if it was stolen you would buy another,to include sequencers/drum machines/samplers/sound modules/keys/pro audio/........Or a piece you are dyin to get.

Ill start this off my favorite equipment is my mpc3000,if it was lost or stolen i would get another or the 4000.
My piece(hopefully next) studio electronics-atcx or se1x or omega it will probably be the atc and se1 just a bit of info the atc is used by producers such as battlecat,dr dre, wich isnt the reason I want one ,its them basses, and leads,I had a moog voyager, but I want one of these.

My yamaha DX7. Its built like a tank, costs 200 bucks and can come with some fucked up leads and pads. Its got great key action and its works as a solid midi controller (unless you're trying to control softsynths - no assignable knobs). Its also under the radar b/c now adays everyone is using the triton, motif, fantom etc. so it sounds unique. Its got a cryptic led interface and you will never understand how to program it., but damn that shit is tight.

Actually, Battlecat has been using mostly soft synths (Arturia Minimoog V in particular) for over a year now. He sampled most of his workstations into his computer. Big Saccs has also sold off his SE-1 in favor of software synths.

^I wish i owned any of that stuff, thats just a mini dream list! I' like to have alot more stuff but I can't remember everything by name. I'd like some Avalon pres, Manley compressors yada yada. Why do you say that is pro sumer stuff moe?, All that stuff is real high end gear right there only Pro sumer thing I can point out on there is that Onyx which I heard is a very solid pre and that CTL 24 which I think is a sucky control surface but ain't no way I'll ever afford a ICON, AWS9000 (which would be really great) or that bullshit D command. You seem to know your shit though so school me, you can ever know everything about this shit!

Forgot about monitors, I'd love a pair of Genelecs or Hafflers (not sure on the model names) like the ones they have at my school but again no cash. Really I'd be happy with a pair of NS-10s if I was able to find some, yamaha is coming with a new line thats supposed to emulate them. They are hella midrangy though but I heard alot of big records were monitored through them since engineers know most people listen to music on shitty speakers!

All i got right now is a rinky dink pc setup for making beats, like I said I'd have to sell some of my organs on the black market for me to be able to buy any of that stuff! I'm gonna work on it though when I finish school in like a month it will take time but I'll have a nice setup in a couple of years

my roland juno-106 is my baby. had it for years. i really liked my yamaha qy100 for making beats on the bus and at work but one of my friends turned into a crackhead and jacked it one day.

Same here (despite the noise generator no longer working) although the Alesis ION is slowly moving into the number one spot as I get more acquainted with it.
