malt liquor doesnt use Hops and shit like that.....
theres something missing in malt liquor that is in real beer, i think thats what it is

and high gravity is even lower on the totem pole than malt liquor

malt also has a slightly higher alcohol percentage, and a fucked up hangover to go with it! @ Rusto: Guiness is good the first couple of swigs but then it starts tasting a whole lot different, but you are right though that shit tastes good with meals. Also, I cant help but love it when you get your favorite beer on tap, that shit makes it taste a million times better.
