Smoov E sounds like: Any anonymous Tennessean redneck from the TV show "Cops" on a mixture of vicodin, rohypnol, and anesthesia with a foam block on his mouth. Add to that the fact that he is from deep in the burbs and attempts to touch on 'hood' subject matter repeatedly, constantly biting themes and phrases from Nickatina and Mac Dre.

these arguement never goes ANYWHERE,can go in circles all day about mainstream vs. underground...in the same way you say we block out em's skills cause he is successful you are doing the same thing by not listening to the artists mentioned. so if you want to make it a close-minded issue it can go both ways.
its all a matter of opinion,why cant you just live with the fact that we have an opinion? why is that so hard for people? especially when it comes to mainstream artists. i see more people get butthurt over mainstream artists than i do local artists from their town on here. eminem could care less that you are fighting his battles on siccness.net, so give it a break. so as long as eminem isnt a blood relative it really shouldnt be a big deal to you.
eminem might not be the worst rapper ever but he definity the most overrated...for future reference here is a list of just white rappers that are better....just like bolic said,i have said the exact same thing before,not only is he not the best,he doesnt crack my top 25

what i am trying to say is that from my perspective there is so many more options than just the vanilla plain jane answer of eminem. not saying you need to listen to all these artists,but just open your eyes to what else is out there,there is more to rap then MTV and who rakim tells you is the best,think for yourself

Its one thing to say that you like one artist better than the other...but its A TOTALLY different story when your saying that someone IS BETTER than another.
Its music and its always subjective...
All I'm saying is...there isn't any other artist out there that can hold it down on the freestyle tip and still be able to make great albums. Give the man his credit.
I have heard a few of the artists that you named though...I do like Aesop sometimes...Slug is dope...Scudda is allllllriiiight.
But the only thing I was saying is that Em is a double-threat...the most well rounded Emcee out there IMO.
