I had to add this

I just had to sit back and laugh on how ghetto this fuckin forum shit is. fools can't even talk about studio shit without gettin in to it. This shit is funny as hell. Anyways man, I don't care what you use, it's how you use it. If you need all the bells and whistles and money's no thang , then go for it. Quit yappin, and go make some tracks.

i think you should focus more time on spelling workstation names (supposedly ones you own) than ranking them in any particular order.

I like the MOTIF ES better than the FANTOM X just personal preference. Both are very good workstations and the Roland XV 5050 is a tight sound module to peep out....1

Motif Es , does that make you happy, I was tryin to give some quick advise. Yes playa, some people do buy new shit. The only reason that i picked the Tritan Extreme over the Motif is because Motif doesnt have as good of drum kits. and for most people who can only afford 1 new board , i think its the best rounded one. but the motif is raw.

I just picke up a Fantom S for cheap

From what I heard it aint much different than the X.
I just use it for the sounds not the sequencing features. I think this board is Shittin on all my other one's . I got a Motif rack and a Triton and a Trinity. I think it sounds way fuller than the motif or triton . My other boards sound real thin. This is one is kinda gritty so it sounds better for hip hop and Rnb tracks. Plus I bought two Srx exp boards for it that got some tight shit too. I wish I would have peeped this out earlier.

Peace

that's good info, cause i was told at the guitar center that the fantom x's sounds are better for performing live and that motif and triton sounds are better for sequencing, etc. but whatever, it's all up to what's your personal preference. i like the motif es better myself, but i will check out that fantom x more, just to see what's crackin with it........1

You dumb fuck, Dj MarkyMark i was talking about what keyboard i thought was better, that doesnt mean that i dont use a mpc and depend only on one workstation for all of my sounds. but some people do make slappin ass beats with just a tritan or motif. stick to techno, I dont know why people like this just get on sites and start talkin shit anyway.
