i agreed with yes man. just beat it..does the talk through at the end change depending on who you encountered? that was pretty cool..

now i need to try one of the other sides...is it possible to side with NCR? how about the legion? fuck mr house but im interested in seeing what would happen there..i accidently blew his ass up this play through lol

Yeah it all depends on certain quests you did and how you resolved them. The endings can be very different.

You can side with the NCR and Legion too. Just make sure you do only their quests because if you do quests for the other side you'll be seen as a traitor and you won't be able to work with them again.

Man I wish u could keep that legion general's sword from the end of the game. I'm tryin out a unarmed/melee/stealth character cause I did one on fallout 3 and if u get sneak high enough and wear the stealth suit and have a dope weapon you can basically walk up to people and take em out in one swing/punch and they never even have a chance to fight back lol. I prolly spend more time collecting the unique weapons for my characters play style than anything else in this game.

I found hardcore mode to be more annoying than anything else. I beat the game a few times running hardcore mode all the way and it wasn't that bad. The only time I felt like it made the game more difficult was when I played Dead Money. I do like it for the role-playing aspect though.

Its really not that bad, you just have to remember where everything is (A clean lake to drink from, doctors, and your stash) and go back constantly. Everything else in the world there is a over abundance of..It can get annoying but at least its realistic.

Quickly skim through the words and pick randomly, if the one you picked has only 1 correct letter or 1 incorrect letter than you made a great choice because you just narrowed most of the list down. Don't waste too much time or put alot of thought into it just fly through it instinctively.

Magazines give you a temporary boost but books give you a small, permanent addition to your skill points. You can tell the difference between the two by looking at the weight, books usually weigh 2 lbs.

There was a tutorial posted in here on how to hack. And if you only have one guess left, back out and start again. It will give you all 4 guesses again.

Just like 3 it will tell you how many of the letters you got right out of the first word you guessed. So lets say you guessed "fires" and it told you 3/5 which means you got 3 letters of out the 5 right and you need to replace 2 letters to find the right one. So since you half to replace 2 letters it could be "rider" or "serum."



Its actually very easy, I don't see how people can have such a problem with it..It also helps to look at the rest of the words before you start guessing too much, eliminate what you know isn't the word and compare it to the words that could be it then make a guess. By that time the words will be narrowed down to about 4-5 possible outcomes making it easier..

As far as removing the duds I'm not sure on that, I've seen people do it but its just a waste of time if you ask me. Take your educated guesses and open the shit...

And the skill books are permanent, but the skill magazines are only for a short time.
