They are comming to the North west next week and was wondering if anyone checked them out..they are all farely new bands and just wanted to know how they sound live.

Ive been to a few concerts and noticed newer bands dont perform as well (muffle mic or mic to close to mouth, ect)

They are all pretty cool bands and just wanted to know if i should pass em up or not

im going this Saturday down here in San Diego. its gonna be a sunny day out hopefully and this scene down here is heavy into new age punk... it should be a good time.

im mainly going to see Fall Out Boy though.. not too much into the other guys although I dont think theyre that bad. But fall out.. theyre pretty fuckin sick.. a lot better than most of the other semi-big punk groups going around.

FOB just runs around the stage doing jump spins. It's funny at first but they're not too good live.
AAR are pretty decent. The lead singer says fuck every other word when they're talking between songs, it's funny.
HH are pretty dope. The lead singer is a little to unenergetic though, never seems like he's too into it. It's a trip seeing the screamer dude though, it looks like he's not even trying to yell but it comes out pretty tight.

the san diego venue was fucking incredible. it was behind the stadium, on some grass right next to the water.. they had a quality (permanent?) stage set up and it was like 72* degrees out when the show started at like 7, was perfect.

youre right about Fall Out Boy not being that great live. I love their studio stuff, I think they are ahead of the game in their genre.. but i was expecting more live. The lead singer guy didnt even speak on the mic, hes scared or something? it was the bassist that did all the talking, and i guess he was alright at keeping the crowd going.

AAR were a LOT better than i remembered them... i have to go download a few songs that i heard.. cause some of them took me by surprise. I was expecting 'average' stuff.. they came out and were pretty sick.

HH was alright.
FFTL was different than i thought they were. a bit much scream though
