Yea Ive been there to check it out..nice place but too expensive for me.
Los Medanos JC in Pittsburg is probally the cheapest place in the bay if you wanna learn about recording arts.

Artists can go to Expressions to record also, for free...because their engineers need practice. But, I think there's a waiting list.

If you're around the South Bay Area, a nice school to go to that has a full music industry program is Foothill College in Los Altos. It's a junior college, so it's junior college prices...but they have EVERYTHING from music business and law, to pre and post production inside studios. Anything having to do with the business, they teach.
