first time i heard some "king" shit was biggie, i think that shit was right

Yeah when Biggie was alive everyone pretty much respected him as the King of N.Y. I don't remember BIG declaring himself the king though if he did i never noticed. T.I. is the first person that i noticed who declared himself King of the South before other people ever mentioned it. Then i noticed declaring yourself the king of something became a trend in hip hop. For example Guce had a mixtape out called the Kings of Gangsta. To me the Kings of Gangsta title don't even make sense. I just thought it was silly and uncreative.

Another suspect So-Called King title is Mistah F.A.B. declaring himself the Bay Area freestyle king. Now don't get me wrong im a fan of Mistah F.A.B.'s music but i don't think he has earned the title of freestyle king. But it is definitely debateable. Mistah F.A.B. can freestyle sick. But when it comes to battles ive seen him get roasted a couple of times.

exactly wut i was thinkin, and if thats the case(people started callin him king before he called himself if he did) that seems a lot more respectable
