There was this one cat named katfish who always used to just post "Fuck You" when he posted. I thought it was hella funny but no one else did.
Anyone remember back in like 98 99 when Lynch and Cedric Singleton were going back and forth airing out hella dirty laundry? That was good for popcorn here back in those days.
Then there was BART/Sicness merger. Game changer for the popularity of the siccness.
There was always Tadou making an ass of himself and getting shut down. He was the original, and now so many others have followed in his path that he has become irrelevant.
I remember when Mac Dre died and I can't think of a nother moment in my life where I felt such pain and emotion for someone I only met once in person. I still love to tell the story of how I met Mac Dre out at Mission Rock back when I was 19 and not even supposed to be there. A group of cats from Sunnydale were about to mix it up in the club with a group of cats from Oakland and all the sudden one of them was like "hey why we gonna fight, Mac Dre is here performing" and they all laughed and shook hands. It really takes a special person in life to have the kind of charisma to dilute a situation like that, just by one's presence...
The late 2000s were when Siccness went from a small community of drunk assholes who like Bay Area and Sac rap and turned into an actual living being, complete with memes, video clips, photoshop, and people getting exposed for being gay/fake/stupid.
Then there's the ever reoccuring subject, why don't Bay Area rappers ever make it big. Everone has their opinion. Everybody reads there opinions, except the rappers who post here.
X Raided's thoughts have always been EXTREMELY valuable to me. When I first started listening to his music in 1997, I meant to write him for all he has taught me through words. Never took him up on that oppourtunity and regret it.
The list goes on and on. What makes the siccness so tight is that theres always someone providing some quality entertainment. My favorite moment may have been recently when Gas One killed the rattlesnake. That was cool cause we got the play by play "There's a snake in my house, what should I do" "Okay, I'll go kill it" "OK, I just killed it" " OK, Here's a picture of the dead snake in my house." Or for the oldschool folks, the ever elusive Mini-Disc forum. I shouldn't even mention this at risk for my own life, but its important that its memory be preserved in this thread just like everything else that was the BART/Sicc.
