Man 2-PAC is what made eminem he gets his whole fuck the world image from Pac just like all the rest of these studio g's.
Yea exactly!!!!!!

Eminem gets his whole image from Pac, if Pac never existed he wouldn't have this whole fuck tha world image that he's portraying now.

Plus I agree that he's overrated. Pac was overrated too, but Em really ain't as tight as people say he is. A lot of whiteboys defend his ass cause he's tha ONLY tight white "Mainstream" rapper so when people diss him, they all come to his defense cause he's tha only successful white rapper puttin it down in tha mainstream.

If you don't believe me, look at how many fools defend him on this board. About 98% of them are white, so that's proof!!!!!

Why are people mad becuase Eminem would rip Pac's ass in a freestyle? When you freestyle all day everyday, your bound to spit something from a written just on habit.

How bout this poll, was Pac a better actor, than he was a rapper?
Was Pac a legend before he met Suge?
Did Drama/Acting classes help Pac create an image?
Is it hard to be tough when you have 40 grown men backing you up 24/7?

Pac's shit was coo,but people need to recognize his albums don't live up to his legend.I will say he rapped with a passion superior to anyone.

BTW,I hate Eminem's voice.....It annoys the shit outta me

Tad,your WHITE too man....lol,naw i think em's tight And still a lil overrated,i think Pac was WAY overrated, but he had tight shit....get off pac's nutts though, cause if i had to say who i thought sounds the realest on records,i'd have to toss it up between A-Wax & C-BO(though i been pretty disappointed on his last few albums)...Eminem is just the type of shit that gets you laughin',he's good,i wont say some of ya'll got good points, but for the most part black rap heads be hatin' on him cause he's more ''original''...he dont sound like noone else......look at it like this, tad, you jock jay z,the most overrated rapper(not m.c.) in the WORLD and probably will defend him when you see this.....and to my knowledge it's mostly white people on here anyways,soooooo.......

So did Pac get his "fuck the world" image from the Geto Boys? C'mon now...I dont recall Pac being the first rapper to be mad at society. And it seems like most of of the people in this discussion havent heard Pac freestyle before. I have...and I wasnt very impressed. On the other hand, Eminem has even said himself that he doesnt battle anymore...so who knows? Personally I think Pac is WAY overrated. He was blessed with the ability to produce material like it was nothing, and I respect his music for having meaning and deep content...but his emcee skills just werent spectacular. And about his ability to produce so much material...am I the only one who notices this went hand in hand with a lot of his verses sounding similar? I mean, theres a limit to how many times I can listen to a rapper rhyme "feel me" with "kill me" before it starts to get old.

i "jock"/support jay-z about as much as you jock a-wax...so...yeah. Right now, he leadin the pack at flippin (dont make me explain)....Eminem is mostly on some "boo hoo" & "ha ha" shit, which gets old after a while. Sad but true...it all comes down to the party tracks. And Eminem dont do those, cuz he's backed himself into his little "fuck the world, ima do what i want" corner, and now has--sadly enough--a 'charicature' to maintain.

I know charisma when i see it; Biggie had it....2pac had it...Big L had it...Jay-Z has it...Eminem, Fat Joe, Black-Op the Cow Killer, even Nas (Mr. Apology) himself....none of 'em have it. Im sorry to all you die-hard Slim Shady fans out there....but thats just how the oreo crumbles.

The man is going down as a champion of circumstance...and no amount of pre-styles can change that -- :(

Another couple questions this gets me thinking about: If Pac and BIG were still alive would Eminem be big, or would he still be underground?

And since tadou brought up my second favorite rapper of all time...do you think Big L would be as big as Jay Z if he were still alive? (remember, Big L got signed to Rocafella right before he died)

To ^^^^

1) I think it'd still be east vs west goin on, and people (mainly, the mainstream) wouldnt be as..umm.. "amazed" by wordplay as they are today? I think they'd just see it as canibus-type stuff--big words with little meaning (i dont think that way personally, but a lot do). Big? Probably not....Known? I'd think so....Underground? Come on now...he had to run out of punchlines SOMEtime.

2) In short...yes...i think Big L and Jay-Z would have a duo project or two out there.....i have nothing to really base that on, besides that they both have TRUMP-TIGHT styles, and they'd make a deadly combination....not sure of Cam'ron would have gotten signed too, but could you even IMAGINE that trio!?!?
