like someone pointed out to me yesterday, he watched his friend play oblivion and his friend didnt do jack shit for like 4 hours, LOL

how many hours are you actually "doing shit" and how many hours are just selling stuff, tweaking your character, running around etc? im interested in this game but i havent played it for these above reasons... in morrow wind i remember spending a great deal of time tweaking my character to play the game, rather than just play the game
It really just depends on your playstyle. I think the very beginning of the game is really the only time you tweak your character. Fast travel makes going to places a lot easier so there's not as much running around as there is in Morrowind unless you're exploring. I don't loot much so I don't have much to sell. Other people might be the opposite and loot/sell shit, walk around everywhere, talk to everyone and stuff like that. Like I said it all depends on how you play.

I felt the same way before I played Oblivion. Then I said fuck it. I already know I'm a nerd so it doesn't matter. Besides, if you don't talk about dark elves out loud to your friends then you got nothing to worry about.

Yeah, because 99% of games released in the past 5 years don't do that..

This is actually the only game (series) where you get the most out of what you paid, but if your fine with Call of Duty subtely tweaking settings, creating 5 new small multiplayer maps, and a 4 hour long single player campaign then this game isn't for you.

idk if your trolling or just never played Oblivion/Morrowind before, thats literally the last thing you should bring up to anything this company has made. (Besides New Vegas)
