The A's have scored more runs than Anaheim, 1 less than Texas and 3 less than Seattle, so I dunno how that "sucks"... But what's more impressive is the fact that the A's have allowed less than half the runs any of the other teams in the AL West have... That's with their "questionable rookie pitchers" already making their first starts... And Harden hasn't even made a start yet.

Team W-L / Runs Scored-Runs Allowed
Oakland 2-2 / 16-8
Anaheim 2-2 / 14-17
Seattle 2-2 / 19-19
Texas 1-3 / 17-21

Home Runs:
Oakland 5
Seattle 4
Texas 4
Anaheim 2

Runs Scored:
Seattle 19
Texas 17
Oakland 16
Anaheim 14

Team Batting:
Seattle .256
Oakland .255
Texas .238
Angels .216

Hits:
Oakland 38
Texas 35
Seattle 33
Anaheim 30

Oakland is lookin pretty good right now.

G-Dubb Thank you for that... show them whos runnin' it..
All the A's starters will be good but Zito... He's gonna be the worst pitcher in the A's rotation this year... They should dump him around All-Star Break and bring up Meyer if he's ready.

ALL CLOSERS R DOIN BAD!!!!!!!! EXCEPT AMRANDO BENITEZ
Benitez has like a 4.5 ERA...

Kolb, Batista, Izzy, Lidge, Nathan, Guardado, K-Rod... They're all doing better than Benitez...

a's should have traded the two lefty zito and moulder and kept tim hudson. hudson is a warrior on the mound. i still think A's will do good and conted for the division and eric chavez having an MVP season. as for my giants, im a little worried not having bonds on the line up. i think they need to get another big bat before the trading deadline. maybe one of the reds crowded outfield (griffey, austin kearns, adam dunn, or wil mo pena) but the ptching and bullpen should be fine.

The A's should have kept Hudson even though he gets injured every year. As bad as Zito is gonna do, Mulder will be worse. I don't know if Mulder will ever make a comeback.

Anaheim's new starting pitchers blow.
Their pitching is gonna hurt em a lot. They also need to get Escobar back, he'll be the best pitcher they have.

Yeah Huddy would have been a better choice but he's too much money and Zito is still in his cheap ass contract. Thats probably what tempted Billy to keep him. Hes had two shitty outtings. He's gonna eventually win some games and with the other 4 behind him, they will do just fine.
