No offense, but this is a MAJOR project, meant to push E-40 forward.. To open the gate and shit.. If it smothers the project with bay rappers, it wont be like a solo... These collabs he got are big shots in the rap industry, as is 40.. 40 wants a wider target audience on this one... Bay and worldwide...

I agree with that statement but alot of other reasons niggaz are giving for him puttin santana on his album don't really fly with me. Just my opinion, but the fact is, 40's highest selling album didn't have 1 nigga from out of the bay on it. After that one he started doing songs wit cube, fat joe, fabolous, busta rhymes, etc. I've been around east coast niggaz who didn't like 40 and then heard him on a song with one of their greats. They usually make some punk ass reason to hate on 40 even though he comes harder on the track than the niggaz they like.

I don't think and hope that he hasn't always put rappers from other reigons on his albums to increase sales. He has always done it with people he said he respected and that respect him. Hopefully the same is true wit Santana.

I don't see it as hurtin at all. There is just two sides to this argument, it has come up on every album since In a major way. I wanna hear 40 and santana. Almost every camp that has ever takin over rap has done it with albums having their own sound and featuring their own people.
