Sorry to burst alot of "40 made up every slang in the world" believers on here, but for the most part HE take others slang and runs wit it...all of that "shizzi" shit is Keak shit...40 (being a bigger artist than Keak) took to another level and Snoop being bigger then 40 took it even higher...40 often gets credit for the term "Playa Hata", but no that was Richmonds own Filthy Phil, but once again 40 took it and ran wit it...If the song Hyphee blows up nationally who do you think will get credit for the slangs "scrappa" and "hyphee" not any nigga from tha Town it would be 40...so I find it funny when he (and others) talk of people jackin all of his slang when his best shit is from other people in the Bay...I ain't sayin the country don't take the Bay's shit, but be careful when you say they takin 40's shit.

folks on that okayplayer site are an entirely different set of people. Most of the time, they are strict hip-hop cats who ONLY listen to that type music (talib kweli, roots, erykah badu etc.) so when they hear rap, especially Bay Area rap, they hear "forced slang" or however they wanna put it. Their opinion doesn't count for much to me just like my opinion on some of that type shit they listen to wouldn't count to them. oh and, as I read further down that thread, the "bay slang dictionary" is hella off and embarrasing. geez-us, it's from, like, 1995!!
