I think Chuck is right.

Dre got released at the beginning of August 1996. Hall Of Game dropped at the end of October 1996. I doubt that track was recorded and turned in to Jive for pressing within that time.

Plus Dre was ridin' a new Impala after he got out. Nice car, but not $85,000 if I remember right.
