I was dissappointed by his last series of albums. The only song I really liked was "so serious" with T Pain, that was slap. These albums seem to have more mobbish beats which is what I like but with the economy now in days cant really afford to buy each album for like $15.
whats the best deal peeps? best buy, target, online somewhere??? I wanna support 40 water and Iam an L.A. cat

The economy been improving this isnt 2008 no more.

I have to continue to let these soak in I'm still overwhelmed by the amount of songs. As far as the negatives I'm dissapointed in the T-Pain song and I think Brotha Lynch Hungs verse sucks.

Coming from you Breh, it's not a good sign.

What ever happened to buying albums & knowing they were tight off top?

yeah that t-pain song had a kinda boring beat. The lynch song was cool that crypt keeper sample got annoying after a while they shouldve left his skeleton ass out and only on the hook

I'm saying there's so many fuckin songs I don't even know the names of the songs I like and shit or what disc they're on cuz its a lot to take in

the same thing that happened to putting out like 15-20 tracks not damn near 70

I'm looking at it like I would any album. I spin one & not having to skip any tracks is a good sign. I've taken it back to the basics & take the Dr. Dre approach when I listen to any song. If it doesn't grip me in the first 30 seconds I'm pressing the skip button.

Have we really reached a point where we're having to sort through albums in able to find a good song? I remember playing albums and letting them play from start to finish while I cruised or did something around the house. I also remember when I purchased an album I "PURCHASED" an album. There were no paying extra for tracks that should have been on the album in the first place. As a fan it's a catch 22. They know your gonna want the extra songs.

So albums are a lot cheaper now than they were in the 90's & early 2000's, but now they've found a way to still squeeze a few more dollars out the consumer, but wonder why people rather download? We're focused on "supporting" the artist & the music industry by purchasing their products, but we're having to pay extra for what we already purchased in the first place.

That's like purchasing a brand new car then the dealer telling you that the windows are extra if you want them LOL!

We have always fast/foreward, skip/ rewinded music since LP's.

Albums are dynamic to where you may have a party song, emotional deep song, political song?

why would I want to listen to a deep mood song, when i'm in a party spirit, or visa-versa? I'm just saying skipping songs is not always a indecation its wack, maybe your not in the mood for it. Sometimes albums take time to soak in, there have been albums I didn't like at first end up being my all time favorites - I'm sure you have a few of those you can think of.

I'm not taking wack/ filler music for concideration in this arguement.

No, your right Breh. I'm simply speaking on albums now. It just seems to happen more & more. I guess we've been expecting the greatest album to hit the rap scene & have yet to hear it. Like the 50 Cent, G.R.O.D.T. or 2Pac: All Eyez On Me where it was tight from start to finish. We anticipate a new release in hopes that this will be the one to take us there, but end up coming back down to the reality of square one within the week of purchase.
