ABOUT E-40
A rap pioneer respected from coast to coast for his slang, his business acumen, his non-stop grind and his longevity, E-40 helped put Northern California on the national rap map in the early 1990s. The Vallejo, Californian’s Sick Wid It Records was one of rap’s first successful artist-owned imprints and made E-40 an early rap-businessman success story. Now, with a bevy of gold and platinum releases to his credit, E-40 stands as a rap legend continuing to rewrite the rules of the ever-changing music industry.
