Wallace should be in it. Hell, he was robbed of the trophy last year. He said recently it was his most "horrible" expierence since he's been in the NBA.

Dude took off from a full step BEHIND the foul line to dunk it. Something Dr. J, Brent Barry, or Michael Jordan couldn't do.

Yall all wrong!! R. Jefferson is winnin this shit fasho!! Amare is to tall to win cause it wont look as good as if the dunks he do come from a shorter person....check S. Kemps history in this contest!! Also M.J. went from behind the line when he dunked deep. I dont remember wallace goin a whole foot behind the line, but I would like to see that again if I missed it.. But R. Davis would beat all these guys if he was in it. But as for these 4, Jefferson will win it fasho!! GOT EM!!!!

^ Nah, no one took off from further distance than Wallace. I'll pull down video from Kazaa later today and give you a break down of who launched from where.

Beleive me, after that dunk, I just new he had won. Should have garnered him a "50" strait up. As I said before, he was robbed.

Man, dunk contests these days are more watered down than ever. I mean, no disrespect to the contestants this year, cause they are good dunkers and all, but wheres McGrady and Bryant? Are they too good to compete in a slam dunk contest or somethin? Who do we get, Desmond Mason and Amare Stoudemire instead? Surely the NBA could have found 2 more "qualified" contestants.

And I'll take Jefferson to win it and J-Rich 2nd.........Amare is just a power dunker and power dunkers rarely win, and Mason is boring and uncreative.

By the way, who are the other 2 contestants? There usually is 6 I thought.

Rack BornSin, very true man.

MB3, I don't recall. But I belive he simply wasn't invited. That or he refused an invitation. Hell, I wouldn't go either if they had treated me that way last year.

And this Wheel-of-Dunk-Fortune shit is just that, shit. I hate it.

Im not sure who is going to win it. I would like to see Jefferson or Stoudemire take it though. I dont know if its Kobe/T-Mac and such not accepting the invitation, or if they just werent invited. Either way its bitch shit. Im thinking they just dont want to come. The way I see it, these contests are for publicity and ratings. The ratings on a dunk contest with Kobe, T-Mac, V.Carter etc. would be off the charts. Perhaps they want newer faces more often, who knows. More then likely its the injury risk factor that keeps them out.
