Ducks Vs Redwings

are u kidding me? that fucking Chuck Liddell elbow move Niedermayer pulled on Datsyuk? not to mention every time the puck moves into the ducks defensive zone Pronger, Niedermayer, anyone runs intereference, or a dirty hit, they havent played clean against the sharks or the wings. doesnt mean they didnt win games or arent "good."
The Ducks don't really play like that. We are more of a finese team. Does it look like we have big guys on the ice? No way. We have Pronger, everyone else is normal size. That was just the game plan going in. The Sharks and the Wings are 2 huge power houses, and they fought fire with fire. They just aren't that good at it so it looks a lot more obvious and we got nailed with penalties.
Dirty? Ya a little, but it was called for in order to:
1) Eliminate the Sharks
2) Make it to game 7 with the Wings
That's not the regular season Ducks though...we're mostly a speed team.
In regards of anyone beating the Wings, the odd makers have it going the same way. Wings and Penguins in the finals, with the Wings winning. Those are the odds anyways.
I think the Wings are tired and the Hawks are fresh right now. It's just a matter of the younger/faster vs older/stronger. I think the Wings have much better D, but I think the Hawks match up better offensively.
The Hawks beat Calgary AND Vancouver. I am impressed with either one of those! They handled both teams like it was another day at the job.
The Wings beat a roller coaster team in CBJ, and the 8th seeded Ducks in 7.
I like Chicago's chances here. Unless the NHL decides differently...
