i didnt hear is music yet.. but dam, if his parents is supporting him in what he loves to do(music). Give him a break. Yes, we all in this forum pays dues- did alot of shows, be out in the street grindin and all etc....As far as his promotion goes. It was impressive. Why worry about what he's doing. Except what he's doing, this will benefit all of us in the Nw.

He can either benefit us, or make us look bad Sonny. And bein' fake and not keepin' it real is basically makin' us look bad, "Aw, that rich motherfucker Dub B is a fake, wherez he from again?" comez to mind. I mean, he can bring us some exposure, but what if hez exposed? Think about it.

as time goes by it's easier and easier for me to see hatred passed off as criticism... has anybody ever stopped to think that maybe dood just happens to rap like bone and thought it would be a tight idea to have a member of bone on a track for promotional purposes? we all remember the mr. dog & e-40 collaboration, i mean shit, sometimes people just wanna do tracks with the type of cats they sound like. that doesn't mean they bit there style... if anything it just means they made a mistake since we all know those types of collaborations don't work well... ya'll need to stop judging books by there covers, theres a shitload more going on with everybodies life than how much money they make or where they got it from. i look at it like this, if home dood is milking his family for his own gain and really doesn't give a fuck and is just some spoiled rich kid then fine, doods weak sauce... but how do we know anything? who's to say that dood doesn't have a tight relationship with his parents who believe in there son and think he has alot of talent and want to help out any way possible... what, we can't learn something from him because of how he was raised all of a sudden? dood doesn't have any contribution he could give to the scene because of who his parents are? like i said earlier, dood kinda popped out of nowhere to me... I didn't even realize he was local till I saw his CD at tower records... is he supposed to announce himself to SLR/UTR/etc because he's putting out a CD? i don't think so... i think we all act like other cats owe us some respect when in reality they don't owe any of us shit. I didn't ask for permission to put out a CD, I didn't announce myself to the world... I'm doing what I been doing, my own thing. I'm not asking for permission or approval to get out there and hustle CD's and make myself known. I'm going to do it regardless and I think that's the attitude of Dub-B... he don't need our approval to do his thing. If his record sells it's going to be because it's tight and he has a promotional machine behind him to help sell the record.
quit pointing out who's fake and who's not cause the reality is that it doesn't mean shit... that's just another stupid ass word someone made up to make themselves feel better for not doing shit with there own lives. i would love to own that guys studio, but i'm not going to hate dood because he has something I don't have... naw fuck that, i'm going to work harder, stronger, and faster and aquire the things I want... that's my plan.

...I just listened to that single and tell me what's fake about changing the world? the hook is tight... singer is hella good, Layzie Bone put it down. "ain't nobody changing it but us" <--- that's some "real talk" since everybody these days is so interested in what's real.

I wish Dub-B and all the other NW artists the best. Congrats to Skunt as well for coming in #3. I wish that I could have been born into a rich family, that would have saved me alot of problems in the past had I had the sliver spoon in my mouth. If all of us had some REAL paper in our pockets the NW cats would be along way ahead of where we are if father gave us free reighn of the trust fund. Viva La Rich kids!!!!
