4 mac D-R-E who stayed thizzed n perved/
he told us how it was for a young black brotha/
and tho i didnt know him man i LOVED THAT BROTHA/
and when i heard the news that he passed away/
i had to make sure i burned a big bag of hay/
in lovin memory of a norcal veteran/
the number one MAC all the rest he was better than/
he laid the blueprint for how to spit game/
and i took in his music no matter how the shit came/
wether it was thizzle dancin or california livin/
or tellin me how long he stayed down in prison/
so pour out some drank wether heem or ripple/
for the dude who made pimpin look so damn simple/
a loveable character with a story to tell/
of how he made a comeback after livin in hell/
he touched the heart of many thru his intricate speaches/
and there is no "out of bounds" for where his intellect reaches/

How can someone, like Dre be hated, when we love em?
I guess we used to this foolishness some of us glamorize/
