Lucid dreams let you connect the subconscious with conscious intent. This isn't really the same as lsd b/c you consciously have control and when your tRipsY you have to go with your subconscious imagination or risk "FREAKEN THE FUCK OUT" which by the way is the funnest part.
Theres not rat poisen in LSD but there is stricnine in rat poison and some people who make LSD dilute it with stricnine. You can tell if you got a dose with it b/c your joints will get stiff and your stomach will feel like shit.

Harvard has done studies about LSD, a doctor from the university wrote a recipe book for LSD and Mesciline. I think it was called LSD and the Tibetien Book of the Dead. The book is suppose to entice spiritual awarness and mystic thoughts.
Aldous Huxley also wrote the book "The Doors of Perception" a book about mesciline use. Hence the name "The Doors" after the rock group.
Also in the book Holographic Universe a doctor seeking to gain knowledge of LSD travels to Nepal and meets a Yogi and gives him acid, the doctor starts to feel the affects but the Yogi feels nothing, then asks for more.
The Native Americans also took Payote in their cermonies to be "one" with the Spirit.

Everyone should read, "The Adventure of Self-Discovery" by Stanislav Grof. Also read up on his technique called "Holotropic Therapy". The self induced holotropic state of consciousness is the same found when under the influence of acid....

We did a bit of acid together...I think you may have even done more then me, not quite sure though...anyways, out of all the acid you took, have you ever experienced any spiritual awareness? I'm sure we both experienced a lot of "mystic thoughts" but I never seen any light or anything like that. I think acid, shrooms and drugs like that are very environmental...for example; staring at my carpet for an hour. Nobody else would have of seen that shit if it wasn't for me pointing out that there were tiny little people in my bedroom floor. Or watching a crazy movie and somebody saying that they see a devil face then everyone else suddenly sees it too. My point is, if you’re with people who are talking about god or religion or whatever, your brain is going to be thinking about that topic and one might believe that they had a religious experience.

Ok, first of all a lot of you interested in drugs and LSD should post on the Detox board in addition to here. We need some more peeps over there.
Second, lets dispell some rumors. Anyone who wants to debate them will be quickly shut down
1) There has never been a single dose of LSD that has been recorded to contain rat poison. Don't listen to the government and/or the media. The strychnine thing is a fairly common myth too... I have heard very few reports of blotter being laid with strych, but they come from unreliable sources and I personally have never seen it or taken it. If it ever has been true, humans would get way more fucked up than they are claimed to have been. Convulsions at minimum. Here is a page on strych and it's functions on the body. Bad stuff. Never heard of anyone ingesting it though.
2) LSD is less harmful to your mind than Psilocybin Mushrooms, dose-for-dose. Look at my name, too... I defend Mushrooms to the fullest degree. But there is nothing more natural about Mushrooms than Lysergic Acid. LSD comes from the base of Ergotamine Tartrate, aka ergot, aka the shit that often infects ryes in small quantities. Just because LSD needs a helping hand in a chemistry lab doesn't mean it's more of a chemical than pure psilocybin.
It's cool that people don't know, and that they assume what they think is correct - I just find myself explaining how Shrooms are NOT better for you because they're more 'natural' than lsd all the time. Ya know?

The word 'Acid' sounds like a true drug, like a true mind-fucking drug to the fullest extent... and even intelligent people get the wrong idea about it. It really is no different than Psilocybin in any way besides the way it makes you trip. I personally think Shrooms are a more mind-controlling trip than Acid, as Acid shows you what is truly right in the world at any given time. The simplicities of time and life are placed in front of you in an unreal way.
With that said, I still enjoy my mushies more than any of the 30+ substances I've fucked with. They are fucking great.

Anyway, right now Im in san diego for some bull shit schooling that im probably going to ditch next semester. so when i get up to the bay i might hit ya up. I mean, Acid is the hardest drug in the world to find and i havent seen it since late 2001. Heard of a shit load of new paper going around the east coast and midwest though so its only a matter of time before berkeley gets huge supply.... ill keep ya updated (mostly on the detox board)
