for those that really am lost over this,...consider this,...
1. dre did not work with too many mainstrem artists and labels
2. dre did his best to control his product
3. come on ,..i hate to sound like a dick but andre young is in the business of working with non west coast artists that he can control and rape them for they money and integraty,...if anyone wants to work with andre young,...they have to give up alot amoney and dre was waaaaaay smarter than that to do something so dumb as to pay for a beat that was not a radio single and not to kick in with 3,000,00,000 in payola
for the cd to stay independent,.....and only sell like 50k units,...
in no way was he and andre young every in business as far as production on a cd,....

You are a fucking moron. Please quit posting. Buy the cd and check the credits. The GOV is credted, not mac dre. It is painfully obvious that you are 17. The best/most believable answer I have heard is this:

he made the beat with dre or took it from him or expanded on it
he gave or sold it to mac dre
I have no specific reason to believe this, but it makes the most sense. Also it sounds like a dre beat in general. except it is obviously not mixed by dr. dre. listen to the drums. That would lead me to think it was an unfinished dr. dre beat.

The Gov throws all of that out the window. It was bought from the Gov who when he parted ways with Aftermath Dr. Dre was more than happy to let him leave with whatever beats he wanted. Because as we all know a Dre beat aint shit without him mixing it. So once and for all Dr. Dre did the beat. The Gov aquired it.
If Dr. Dre did the fucking beat there would be a video on MTV, so everyone who thinks Dre did it shut the fuck up. You should know better than to think something like that. Otherwise YOU WOULD KNOW and EVERYONE else would too. It wouldn't be a toss in the air as to who did the fuckin beat.
And as far as the credits go, Dre would sue someone if they took part of his beat and sold the shit or gave it away.
