A big debate was started here about a particular song called "Black Music" from the "Voice Of Northeast Portland" Mixtape. You can now listen to the song and even download it and study it at the link below. Make the call for yourself after actually listening to it. If you like what you hear, make sure that you slide by www.JusFamilyRecords.com and pick up a copy of the mixtape for the very low price of $7.50 which also includes shipping.

Listen to and download the controversial song "Black Music" here!!!!!

It just sounded like a shot at rich white club owners, call it what you want but I take zero offense to it.
I take more offense to people using "whiteboy",so I'm not like alot of white listeners who would'nt care if someone said KILL ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE.I take certain issues as spreading hate, but this did'nt offend me in the least.Nice track BTW

You know whats funny? I went to a show with Dead Prez here in Portland, and the opener named Tahir basically called the white people crackers. After he got off stage people rushed over to the CD table and were purchasing his CD's like crazy. Some were even buying 2 or 3 at a time. It was crazy.

^^^^Thanks for your input on the song. I appreciate it. I would like people to be honest.

I ain't offended by it but i see where people can get the wrong idea.

I do business with, and have to many relationships with white people to say "Fuck The White People". That would be a little to extreme.

How about this:

"Fuck these black people and their rap music"

or

"Fuck these black people and their kentucky fried chicken"

or about 100 other lines that would be fucked up to say.

The line was not necessary. This was a corny mixtape with jacked beats; not a serious album trying to make a point via social commentary. The whole "but what about ____ when they say it?" shit does not cut it.

People are entitled to say whatever they want. My one line won't change the world, or ruin it. People can say whatever they want about Black people, they have been doing it since the beginning of time. My skin is thick enough to take it. The word Nigger won't kill me. I've been called it on many an occassion.

And you are entitled to your opinion about the song. Song has been getting a great response, as well as the mixtape. thanks for your opinion and feedback.

Again. I stand by what I said on the song. Sorry if your all butt hurt about it.

That doesn't even make any sense.

"Fuck these Muslims and their 7-11's"
or
"Fuck these Chinese People and their Buffets"
or
"Fuck these Jewish people and their Bagels"

These are all similar.

The line is not a swipe at club owners who happen to be white. It is a swipe at White people who happen to own clubs.

This whole thing here is like Jews going into Palestine and listening to "I HATE YOU KIKES" and "SHOOT ALL THE HYMIES" and then rushing to buy all the CDs and posters. Or Blacks going to a KKK Convention and buying up Autographed Lynching-ropes and Klan outfits. It is pure lunacy.

But hey, its "Us vs Them", right? Nutz couldn't possibly be talking about you and your great White family and history and shared language and shared customs, while the rest of us live with 0 knowledge of where we came from, how our ancestors spoke, etc. Grow up Poor and you are us now, regardless of your blood content. I guess thats the way it works.

The mixtape indeed must be bought. It is a worthwhile investment.

But the line was still out of place in an area where 80% of the people (and 95% of the fan base) are White. In Alabama or Mississippi, it might have been different.

Oh well. I stand by the line, and that won't change.

Wasn't me that labeled it controversial. I just wanted to give people the chance to hear it for themselves.

This was the point that I was trying to make.
