Im fucking astonished this song gets play on the radio. It is the worst fucking song ive ever heard. Terrible, terrible, just shitty rapping, unbelievably awful beat. This song sounds like a fucking bad youtube video.

but how many black rappers do you see on tv?for every lil jon theres a young jeezy or a snoop dogg. if this dude is the only latin cat on TV hes gonna make us all look like straight up jackasses. imagine walking passed a group of black folks or another ethnicity and hearing "wassup essay ,lean like a cholo!!!".FUCK THAT

you should be happy people are even paying attention to "latin rappers" that aint on some reggaeton shit.
let someone open the door and then bum rush that muthafucka with the real talent. or at least 20 other rappers like Down with a catchy single.
thats what the south did and has been doing since the what.. 2001?

lil jon actually comes hard on production tho, aint nothin funny about that! it aint like lil jon is making videos sayin "oh this is how black folk do", he's doin his own thing.

but if Down was doin his own thing he wouldn't catch criticism about makin latinos look bad....but he aint doin his own thing! His video is full of idiot-lookin ass ese's just like hollywood would have them look in an embarassing way.

and lil jon shouldnt be compared to this mess

if you really wanna compare lil jon to someone, compare him to chingo bling or something. in the sense that theyre both characters.

and chingo dosent do production so its not even a comparison

ill say this, i want to see whos the first person who gets mopped by an ese for leaning like a cholo.

that shits up there with lil bow wow crip walking.

That's exactly what I was thinking, but fools have to act quick. I would think Lil Rob has a chance of making it now. Or maybe some Latin rappers have to collab with Down or something.

oh dont get it twisted, im not saying im just gonna let some fools i dont even know disrespect like that, all im saying is that its a shame a latin rapper needs to make a dumbass song like this to get recognition.and its not that i care "too much" about what other people think, its just that this shit is embarrasing being that there are about 10 latino rappers i can name from frisco alone that are way better then this guy.

NEW YORK, June 6 /PRNewswire/ -- West coast rapper Down AKA Kilo has been selected as the MTV Tr3s "Descubre & Download" Artist beginning June 11th and will get high profile placement on multiple platforms including MiTRL, MTVTr3s.com, MTV Tr3s Radio, MTV Tr3s Mobile, MTV.com, VOD, and MTV Networks' URGE digital music service. A free download of Down's hit single "Lean Like a Cholo" is available exclusively at MTVTr3s.com through July 22nd.

Down was selected because "his music represents the diversity in the Urban Latino movement and is a great fit for our 'Descubre &Download' platform," says Jose Tillan, SVP of Music and Talent Strategy for MTV Tr3s. "His track 'Lean Like a Cholo' promises to be a winner this summer. The video is a lot of fun, with a perfect balance of West Coast humor, a great beat and a memorable hook."

Down fans can expect to see aggressive airplay of "Lean Like a Cholo" along with vignettes that give viewers the story behind Down and his lyrics. Viewers will also be able to discover everything they want to know about Down through his bio, photo gallery and extended vignettes on the "Descubre & Download" artist page on MTVTr3s.com and the Down's artist page on URGE.com. The "Lean Like a Cholo" video and Down vignettes will also be available on VOD and MTV Tr3s Mobile will stream "Lean Like a Cholo" and Down vignettes.

Born in Oxnard, California as Juan Martinez, Down grew up in a poor family who worked long hours merely to survive. It didn't take long for young Down to realize he wanted to change the dynamic. After hearing the true life stories told in rap lyrics by NWA, Down started rapping his stories at age 13. He was fascinated with the art of rhyming that made it possible for him to encompass fragments of his life into stories an entire Latino culture could understand because they also lived it.

Down's highly anticipated album "Definition of an Ese" dropped on May 22nd.

"Descubre and Download" is MTV Tr3s' multi-platform destination dedicated to promoting a new generation of Latino artists. MTV Tr3s is the most-widely distributed TV network dedicated to superserving today's bicultural Latino youth. MTV Tr3s' programming is rooted in the fusion of American and Latino music, cultures, lifestyles and languages. Music programming is at the core of MTV Tr3s and the channel features hitmakers, emerging artists and new sounds that resonate with young U.S. Latinos. In addition to music programming, MTV Tr3s programming slate also features lifestyle series, news, documentaries and other long-form programs that celebrate US Latino hybrid identity and culture.

best we can hope for is somebody comes out with some real shit after this dude. hopefully not lil rob because that fool fits a straight up stereotype and he comes out with some corny shit sometimes. if anyone from the south were to make i hope its someone serious like mr.shadow, but id still rather bump mr.kee,10sion,louie loc,or even a fool from new york like cuban link. with the exception of a few(that ive heard anyway)a lot of southern cali latino rappers seem very one dimensional to me.
