All techno/trancy sounding and fast ass tempos with wierd ass beats, WTF?!?!?! Might as well just call it Techno-Hop or Fuck, just POP. WTF are fools thinking these days, wierdos? I guess when you grow up listening to peeps like... Spice1, Above The Law, Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Jayo Felony, Too Short, Tupac, Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Biggie, RBL Posse, Brotha Lynch, X-Raided, Mr. Doctor, C-Bo, Celly Cell, older E-40, Lighter Shade of Brown, Kid Frost, KnightOwl, Mr. Shadow, Bone Thugs, older 36Mafia, WuTang, Jeru the Damaja, Nas, The Roots, Black Moon, Smif-N-Wessun, BootCamp Clik, Camp Lo, Souls Of Mischief, etc.. it's VERY hard to like this new $hit.
Absolutely NO one impresses me these days. Though Mitchy Slick & Ecay Uno seem to be keeping it TRUE to the West's sound. The same with many Chicano rappers be keeping it G-Funk, the way it should be.
Rap ain't the same no more, that's for sure! It's SAD IMO. The sound of the music has just gone waaaay down the drain IMO. I don't care what anybody says but the 90's were HOT from Coast to Coast, from the West, South to East.
Just think about this, those of you who are like 16-25yrs old right now and support this Hyphy/Crunk rap, when your about lets say 35 or 40, are you still going to listen to this $hit? hahaha, I highly doubt it, you know why because none of this new shit truely hits the soul! You can't make oldies out of any of this shit. Each new song is random noise and goes in one ear and out the other the next week. When you get that old, you foos will bust out the 90's $hit like Dre's Chronic album, Tupac,WarrenG, BoneThugs, etc... and say NOW THOSE WERE THE TIMES! I'm barely 20 now and I'm ashamed of my generation, fools are all wack.
