shit was fucking horrible... I was trying to get a refund after it was over and the theatre told me they dont have the authority to do it...

If you only wanted to see it for the "monsters" or because it was an M Night Shymalan movie, DONT... The monsters are not real and it is a fucking horrible story. I actually figured out what happened before the climax, but then decided that I was wrong because what I thought about them making the village in modern times wouldnt make sense becuase theres no way to hide the village anywhere. But I guess Night proved me wrong, even though he didnt explain how the fuck they could actually hide the village in a fucking forest preserve... sorry, but Im drunk, I could explain why I hated it so much a lit better if I was sober so Ill bitch more aobut it tomorow :siccness:

The Village is such a piece of shit. I went to a packed midnight show and when it was over everybody hella booed out loud. That was the first movie I ever been to where people booed at the end, but it hella deserved it. I want my 9 dollars and my two hours back.

ya I almost threw my fucking pop at the screen when they showed how the monsters werent real... the only coo part of the entire fucking movie was when the retard stabbed the other dude, other than that it took its place in my top 5 worst movies of all time list, knocking jason x out of it

Melo- when it ended there was kind of a collective, "what the fuck!?" I want to find a way to get my fucking $6 back cuz that piece of shit Shymalan should rot in hell for that fucking pile of garbage

it wasnt horrible. It was a well put together movie, it was interesting as hell... just dont go in there expecting to see a scary ass movie, like we all did. I wasn'ot dissapointed, mabye people aren't capable enough to understand the story, ee. People are so concered on these fake ass monsters, they dont even get the plot. He tricked us into thinking it would be a horror film, but it turned out not to be scary, but it was a good movie overall. See it with a open mind, it's a lot better then the movies being put out. My 2 cents

I loved it...I thought it was an excellent idea for a story...a lot of people seem disappointed because it wasn't a horror...but he doesn't make horror films, he makes films, that make you think. The idea for the story was simply brilliant...that all the elders, met up at a grief counseling center, and then decided it was best for them to get away from the world...

The idea for the monsters was simply to keep their world hidden, so the kids would never know, the true horrors of the real world...and sending the blind girl, was genius...cause she can't tell anyone what see saw...

I loved it....will go see it again...

That fool's the most over-rated director in the world next to Clint Eastwood. Signs was an absolute piece of shit and The Village looked exactly the same minus the corn fields and Mel Gibson. I KNEW this movie was gonna be horrible without ever seeing it..

I'm glad I was right..

The Village was one of the WORST movie I have ever seen. That bullshit about you don't understand the story blahzay blahzay is bullshit. I understood what was going on through the whole movie and what M. Night was trying to get at but it was still garbage. Now the 2 that said it was good thats your opinion, but in my opinion that movie was a waste of time and money.
Where I went people were booing before the movie even ended and i was sitting towards the back and saw atlest 10 people walk out before it was even over. 6th sense was a good movie, Unbreakable was alright, Signs sucked, and this was just plain awful.

jus saw it tonight... I liked it. It was the typical thought provoking movie you've come to expect from this cat. Things were placed into the movie where you would say ..."oh.... that's why that happened" The monster went from real... to fake.. then to real.... then fake....

If you go in thinking it's a horror flick you may be disappointed... the music and sound effects keep the horror flick M.O. goin.

it does sometimes take a while to develop... but I thought it was pretty good. Far from horrible to me.. but that's just me

i seen that shit the other night (friday) and that shit was horrible...me, my sister and her friend were pissed off when that shit ended...my sister fell asleep and i was about to leave...but then again you can say it was a good movie, it was just wrongfully advertised...i think if they would have advertised it for what it was suppose to be (not a horror movie) then it would have been koo...we were expectin to see some scary shit, but it didn't happen...

I thought it was a very well put together flick. For people to boo during the movie is just stupid and disrespectful. Talk shit after the movie...some people may want to finish the film.

M. Night tricked you AGAIN, don't be so pussy hurt.

All the people I went to go see it with liked it for the most part. I did hear someone snoring during the part where she walks through the woods. It was really slow and drawn out, but it kept the suspense up.
