Alot of folks on here don't like V.I.M. I love it. To each his own.
That album was cool but nothing special. Kingpen is an average emcee & he was all over that album. Hollis did majority of the beats & they were hit & miss.

X was on a role around that time. Unforgiven came out in 99, Nefarious in '00, Initiation & V.I.M in '01. He was dropping heat back 2 back. I was living in LA @ the time & I was copping all of those. I remember when Tower records was closing in Sac they had a gang of Initiation CD's for a one dollar each. LOL!!

vengeance is mine was sick. hold on, post war syndrome and every other song off it. kg made some of the beats on there too i believe and they were tight. i would say initiation was kinda a hit or miss for me. i still liked it but i was still off the v.i.m. album when that came out.

quality wise the production on v.i.m. was better and unforgiven second but i thought all the beats on v.i.m., unforgiven and speak of the devil were on point
