I wonder if it would bring more fighters / depth to the division if announced
Who would it bring in though, what/how many athletes cannot make the 265 cut?

On the other side, how many 230-240lbers out there are not fighting because of the weight difference?

If the HW division was extremely stacked with fighters and at least half weighed in at 265 I could see a reason for a divide but as of now I don't see it working too well.

I do agree it puts the 230lb fighters in an awkward place but most of them could make the move up or down. All other weight divisions people have to watch their weight and cut when necessary, these 230-235lbers, I feel just don't want to have to bother with that. It's easier for them to not have to worry about their weight on either end.

i think the superheavy weight wouldnt work cause they wouldnt have much fighters in the division, so you'd end up having the same fighters always fighting for the belts n shit. Brock can be beat and it aint just his weight thats having him win these fights, dudes just outclassing people with his skills.
