i dont realy care what ppl think when i use the word NIGGA... i mean its just the way a lot of us talk out here in hayward, the funny thing is that there arent as many black fools out here... i aint tryna be black, i just use the word NIGGA... its a case of adopting language, here's a vague analogy, we all speak english, but we aint tryna be some ENGLISH ppl from the U.K. right?? we just speak that way cuz thats just the way it is... we are brought up around it, and then it becomes apart of our everyday vernacular... i guess it depends on where you grew up, cuz to tell most of yall the truth, all of you guys who oppose the use of non-black ppl using the word nigga are from cities with small populations with less diversity, except for some of yall and you cats from LA, i know you guys hella dont like it when nonblacks say nigga... but everyone else who is not from LA, you guys basically live in a society with less diversity which make it hard for you guys to understand where most of us NIGGA users are comin from, like TJ RAPIST could feel me cuz FRISCO is hella culturally diverse, just like here in hayward.... i dont know how SHEA cant feel me due to the fact that he lives in da 408, but ya, its all about the cultural aspects of the place you stay at and geographical area in which you stay at...

ANOTHER ANALOGY

WE UP HERE IN THE BAY SAY "WUSSUP BLOOD" with no association with bloods just as we use "cuz" with no relation to CRIPS....

JUST AS WE SAY NIGGA.............. WITH NO INTENTION OF BEING BLACK.........

when u say something and u dont have a meaning for the word and this word cares no meaning to u it makes u look like an ass (not calling anyone an ass) so what im saying is weather blacc or nonblacc if the word nigga means nothing to u WHY USE IT

use it huh, why do i say words like "dude" "blood" or even "fuck" when they actually mean practically nothing but words i use to convey whatever it is im trying to say... i dont see the word nigga as racist nor do i use the word nigga in a racist fashion... i use it as a word to replace the word freind, folks, guy, dude...... i dont use it in place of all them words but as a collage of words in my everyday vocabulary... sorry if it offends you guys but ofcourse i study my surroundings and if i know that the certain place i'd be using it such as a midwest town i would use a synonomous word in terms of my own definition of the word and avoid harming anyones feelings... i aint going to go to a town where the only ppl that say the word nigga are black fools or white racist fools, ofcourse i wouldnt do that, because the ppl of that town wont feel me on my use of the word... you have to know your surroundings, in places like OAKLAND, and FRISCO it is aite for a non black to use the word NIGGA in their everyday vocab, it is widely accepted.. but if i were to go to a town like salt lake city i be id be veiwed as a racist or a wanna-be black or something.... it depends on how the word is used in certain geographical areas.....

I am interested in finding out how you think those two words differentiate from each other?

Well my argument is that you've been lied to or you just don't know but saying "Nigga" is saying "Nigger", and in some parts of the South racist white people don't say "nigger" they say "nigga" or "nigguh", its the accent. If you don't believe that those two words are the same just take trigga like some rappers like to use is there a difference between trigga and trigger? NOPE. The word "nigger" never loses its meaning, people get ignorant over time. But the word is accepted in the black community, its derogatory but accepted.

my feelings are not hurt and im not offended by nonblacc saying nigga i feel u exactly and maybe u can feel me when i say that the word dude blood or fuck hold no emotions to people when they say it.I have talked to many blacc and nonblacc pepole about the word nigga and alot of blacc folks dont think that its just as saying was up they think of it as saying was up blacc man or brotha and alot of people just think it sounds cool what about women they call each other bitches & ho's but when a male does it its not right and one of my latin brothas could u accept one of ure people calling u a speck as if a white person did

yes i guess there is racism out in oakland but check it out... im not white nor am i mexican, my skin is brown and im filipino... in some places colored people who arent black but use the word nigga as a word as folks or potna are well accepted and arent viewed upon as racist or wanna-be black.... lol, you should go out to oakland and see the whole asian population of that town (which is hella big) use the word "NIGGA" and it is not shunned upon nor is it viewed as racist or wanna-be...


plus like GANGSTAEIGHT said... us filipinos were called niggers when the U.S. first started to colonize our country(PHILIPPINE ISLANDS) after the spanish left, the Americans didnt know what to call us and since many of us were dark skinned they callled us niggers, later on the Americans labeled us as "LITTLE BROWN BROTHERS"...

plus you got to remember the town i live in doesnt have much of a white population compared to many other cities in the U.S.... colored people such as mexicans, filipinos, blacks, samoans, tongans, and many other people live here, and many people over here view the use of the word nigga by these ethnic backgrounds as ok, i guess you could say there isnt much of a racial problem, but yes the races do tend to fight one another from time to time, but its not because of a word like nigga, but because of gangs, drugs and plain old stupidity.....

and about that permit, no we dont have a permit... its just widely accepted in cities like frisco and oakland... when you have a fat ass melting pot of different races in a small space then they tend to ride with each other and words as well as lifestyles are adopted and shared... its not like only the blacks kick it on one corner and mexicans on the next... people in big cities like that tend to network with each other...


but like i said earlier, in small cities in the midwest like ie Salt Lake City where the biggest and only minority would be african-am's(im just guessing) then i wouldnt use the word nigga, because its probably taboo or some shit like that.......

nobody has ever called me a nigger and i have never heard someone nonblack call a black fool a nigger infront of their face let alone serious about it... but ive heard a skin head skating white boy call black fools niggers but then i was in southern cali juvenile detention camp when that happened, and even though i aint black and it wasn't directed towards me i was mad because of the hatred that fueled its use from that one kids mouth, he said it with an insinuating NIHHHHGGGEERRRRRHHHHHH.....

and it realy aint some of my friends, i dont know how it came to be that i say the word, but i know relatives have a big influence and it was relatives of mine who speak sort of the same way that i do...

yes i said that, there are many factors that come into play when it comes to ones surroundings such as family, freinds, and just the people around you.... so are you just tyring to understand where im coming from or are you trying to get at something, remember not all places in america is like SF or Oakland each area has its own distinct characteristics, so all that ive said is from my point of view of how it is ok to use the word nigga as a friendship word in the cities ive stated in my past threads, i understand that in places such as KC for example it may be different... i know for sure it is different in SOCAL and many other places are have just the same mentallity as they do, i know New York City and its five buroughs have the same "nigga" trait as do we here in norther cali, so i guess it depends on limitless possibilities, the people, social awareness, understanding of the community, and just how things come to be in certain areas, there are too much to account for...

YOU'LL KNOW THA DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RACIST SAYIN NIGGA AND A FRIEND SAYIN NIGGA.

FOR EXAMPLE:
RACISTS PERSON : "YOU JUST A STUPID NIGGER (OR NIGGA)"
A FRIEND: "WHUTUP MY NIGGA"

BUT I THINK IF YOU AIN'T FROM THA GHETTO WHERE MOST PEOPLE SAY "NIGGA"... DON'T SAY IT
