NW actually DOES have potential to birth stars from the region. The region itself is mostly unaware that it contains quality rap artists, so the region remains in it's infancy. A mixtape scene needs to be generated, an alternative NW only website could be created, but would need promotion. Also, more collaborations between artists could take place to unify fan bases to help spread awareness of NW artists. Keep creating quality music and it may happen. The bay area is doing much more than us regionally and they are still on the verge of breaking through, yet comparing us to the bay is apples and oranges. You have to crawl before you can walk.
