"thizzle dance" was on the playlist starting about a month ago. way late but that's how sd tends to be. it'll get played only a few times though. i think a lot of the dj's and interns are originally from the bay.

damn, thizzelle dance is just now gettin play out there? that shit was released in 2002.

I heard some EA Ski last time i was out in LA, but radio everywhere is on some dumb shit right now. i dont usually make big generalizations like this, but a lot of shit from the dirty south thats in heavy rotation is straight garbage.

THE RADIO STATIONS DOWN HERE MOSTLY PLAY LOCAL MUSIC, BAY MUSIC, AND WEST COAST MUSIC WHEN THEY DO MIXES WHICH ARE MOSTLY LIKE ON HOLIDAYS. THEY GOT THE NEW YEARS MIX, THE JULY 4TH MIX, LABOR DAY MIX, ETC... THE MIXES USUALLY RUN LIKE FOR THE 3 DAY LONG WEEKENDS.

One of my co-workers that I met this year listens to bay area music. That's all we talk about at work. "Have you heard this? Have you heard that? What new CDs have you gotten?" It's great to know I am not the only one in southern California that listens to bay music.

My brother listens to whatever I listen to because he knows I have that good ear for music.
