Do your friends like tech?

Yea, my other friend who got me on shit like Slipknot and Hatebreed back in the day loved Einstein and Meloncholy Maze. I mean he liked rap somewhat back when the mainstream was actually bearable, but you would be suprized if you caught him playing one of his few Eminem tracks ya feel me? Three 6 Mafia is another one of his favorites but youll most likely hear him playin some Metallica and I got him goin Dumb as shit to some of techs songs.
All of my friends say they like tech, and go to shows n shit, but when it comes down to it, I never even hear em playin any Tech albums or anything. I think they know hes slick, but arent really interested in him as much as I am. Basically, they listen to a few of Tech's hits, and thats it. I, on the other hand, listen to everything Strange puts out. I also got my girl into Tech, Kaliko, n Prozak pretty good. You cant base your friends on what music they listen to. My 2 best friends listen to metal, and I cant stand the shit.

I've probably hooked a few hundred people to Tech over the years and god knows how many people they got listening to him. Im nasty at promoting without flyers or anything...

The manager I work with is into underground hip-hop and he's heard of Tech, but I've been trying to get him to listen to his music. I dropped this one girl off from work and I had Tech on and she thought it was hot, but she never thought I listened to music like that. She told some people at work and a co-worker mentioned how I listened to weird music, although she never heard any of it. I don't know what the girl told everyone, but nobody there understands good music so I will not explain. Other than that, I don't know many people and as far as I know I'm the only person who listens or even heard of Tech N9ne in my city. Now that I think about it, my manager may have thought of Tec-9. Being from New Orleans thats quite possible.
I know what you're sayin man, I used to be the metal kid and that's how everybody knows me, I start bumpin some Tech or any rap for that matter and they look at me like, what the fuck is HE doing listening to that kind of music! Bitch I've been down since I was 12, what the fuck are YOU doing listening to my music!?
haha..yeah, same here. I've been listening to rap music since I was 8. My taste in rap music has changed a lot through the years and I haven't heard anyone as unique as Tech. His music is different than other rap artists and they aren't used to that. But some chick said I fooled her do to the way I dress and look. I don't know..it's whatever...but it's funny to me because I've been listening to this music for so long.
