ur bitch ass niners got lucky that green cant fall on the fucking ball. gore only managed 55 yds. the offense only had 109 yds before that last drive. not impressed. atleast the raiders moved the fucking ball. yeah they lost, but it would have been different if culpepper played.

Don't feel special. Every team gets kicked when they're down.

Not really..atliest not near as bad..no one cares if teams like the Cards or Lions are doing bad because everyone expects them to be bad and they never have been much of a threat anyway. Its the teams that have been more successful in the past that get kicked when they're down harder..but you gotta admitt besides the Yankees the Raiders and probally the most hated team in sports...atleist the Yankees are always good so they dont gotta deal with it as much

You cry like a little BITCH.

I'm not even gonna try to compare the two teams, there is no competition. Give it a rest.

Maybe, but I don't see why. I don't like them because they are a rival team, obviously. Everyone else who hates them has their own reasons but I honestly don't see why they would give a rat's ass about the raiders.

great argument you bitch.
What exactly do you want me to argue?

You claim the Niners were lucky, that's fine. The fact is they put themselves in position to win the game, and whether or not they got lucky they still had to play ball to allow luck to take over in the end. The D played well, the offense was horrible due to the O-line not showing up and bad play-calling as well as poor execution, but at the end of the day the 49ers walked away from week 1 with a WIN.

The raiders on the other hand lost to the Lions, which was one of the few teams they had a legit shot at beating. There's only a small list of teams that the raiders have a real shot at beating and they blew the first one. Not to mention they are coming off their 2-14, worst-in-the-league campaign and are still ranked dead last in EVERYBODY's power rankings. Yes their offense moved the ball, but they still lost the damn game. I don't care if the Niners have the shittiest offensive season in history as long as they pull off wins. You see how that works?

So what arguement are you truly looking for? Did you want me to tell you that the Niners weren't lucky last night? I won't do that because it wouldn't be true. But at the same time you could say the Cardinals were lucky Walt Harris didn't pick up the fumble that Patrick Willis caused, or they're lucky Walt didn't jump the screen to Fitzgerald and take it to the house, or that D-Jack didn't catch the pass in the end-zone to end it.. The game involves luck. But the fact remains you have to position yourself to capitalize on that luck. The Niners did that and came away with the win. Get over it.

Honestly, it is kinda funny, but sadly, if you think it would happen...you must not know much about football.

I remember hearing a Mike and Mike show (I think) about a month ago, and they were speaking with Ditka, and asked him if he thought a college team could beat the Browns.

Answer.

NO.

Either way...it's up to speculation, and while the Raiders are ass right now, I remember ALL of 'your' favorite teams being ass in past years, also.

Don't worry, in about 23 years, when Al Davis dies, the Raiders will get better.

how can a team that's not even in your conference be a rival?

before I never reallly had a problem with the 9ers, but its the fans that ruined it for me.....now I desperately root for them to lose because of the gargantuan heads 9er fans get after every victory (i.e. the "49ers are in first place" thread)

THE RAIDERS HAVE IMPROVED DRAMATICALLY. LET THE SEASON PROGRESS A BIT AND WE'LL SEE WHAT'S GOOD. I KNOW I SAID THAT LAST SEASON BUT IT'S REALLY TRUE THIS TIME!
