Update (*Disclaimer: TLDR if you don't have kids)
So my youngest was an athlete- soccer, T&F, xcountry... Soccer season Jr yr '16/'17 she had a broken leg and we didn't know it for 2wks (she was walking on it like a goddamn soldier) but still was in serious pain and Dr said shehad no break. Specialist saw X-ray and in 2 seconds knew it was fractured.
Fast fwd to soccer '17/'18 (Sr year), first game of season she went down same leg- didn't want to play any games with shit so took her asap for X-ray, but no fracture this time. Now, she was 18 at this time but even if she was 7, I would have done what I did next:. I started allowing her to utilize the 1:1 THC:CBD ointment because I had already self witnessed it's healing properties vs anything else available OTC or prescription.
I swear by that shit. Would I let my child partake in that type of use if they were a minor? Hell yes, because it's my duty as a parent to aid in their health. But again, we would have an understanding together of how the govt system works and all that shit ya dig.
Now over the last winter break she went to Washington for a week to visit friends. She basically returned with serious ear infection and ruptured ear drum. BS psuedo-science DRs practicing medicine gave her all types of nonsense and she had excruciating pain. She flew to Washington for a week again over spring break and it got worse (I suspected maybe flying was cause, still don't know). This child was in so much damn pain, I didn't know what to do because the DRs sure as shit weren't helping, just being copay and office vi$it succubus'. I started giving her the chocolates for her pain when we were not seeing results from the ointment for this specific issue, in half of suggested dosage. After approx two weeks she had no more issues.
She has had zero issues since and she hasn't used or ingested any drugs of any kind for 6 weeks now.
Anyone who says that shit ain't medicine is a goddamn liar.
