Do you fear death?

I used to fear it a lot when I was younger but nowadays I dont think I fear it so much as I fear the fact of HOW I will die....I think that scares me more.

I think I fear the act of dying more than just being dead.

Dead people look like they are at peace..

I dont fear peace.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm scared of getting old and dying of some heart disease or cancer, etc. But death itself, not so much.

when i was young i wasnt scared to die but after i had my 2 baby girls i wanna be able to see them grow up so im scared of dieing now. all you can do it put your faith in god and know hes gonna take care of you.

for me= car accident is fast if anything. think about the ways:

shooting in the head= fast but do u still think about it? how do u know your soul wont be still there repeating the same thing?
hanging= is it slow or fast? and do u black out first or your neck snaps?
drowing= horrible
the worst fear is me having to stand there looking at my lifeless body and trying to repeat me killing myself or being murdered for the next hundred years like a dream i cant snap out of...thats worst then knowing when or being scared of life afterwards.

When I was 7 yrs old, I understood it N really feared it for several years. Now, not so much jus hope not too soon. But dont wanna get too old either, funny that G'parents say never get old its no good.

I hear ya. Im not afraid to die, when that time comes theres nothing you can do to avoid it so why let that stress you? Im afraid of the pain that comes with dieing. Becoming handicapped after an accident or gong through intense pain and suffering is worse than dieing IMO...
