I just spent 50 dollars on a PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT.

I got an fm transmitter for my Juke so I can listen to my mp3s in my ride. I've never heard music this poor of quality. You're suppose to hook it up to your mp3 player and then set your radio to whatever you have set on the transmitter. First of all, good luck finding ANY frequency allows your mp3s to even be audible. When you do find one, it sounds like you're listening to the radio in fucking steel tunnel.

Fuck transmitters.

or you can buy a fm transmitter for 3 bucks on ebay and use it for freeway/road trips, like i do

i dont use it in my city but when i leave the signals to 88.1-88.9 are stronger

yup, exactly...i tried to use it locally and it was shit, but i took it on my cross-country road trip, and it was perfect when i was out in the middle of nowhere, which was most of the trip.

The only FM transmitter I've found that works well is the monster cable one. We've got that one for my wife's car and it works good. We have a pre-set station we use in town and when we go somewhere else like Chi we just tune it in on a different station. Even works in the city. But it was like $100. I guess it's twice as good as your target one.

You can always get a kit and run an aux-cable from the back of your deck or have some place like Best Buy or whatever install it for you. But that costs more than $100, but it is the best way to get quality sound.

When you get your new car put a deck in that has an aux input on the face plate or look for a new car that has them in them. Scion has them I know.

Most, if not all, new cars have Aux-in (headphone jack) so you can get a double-sided aux cable for $20 at Radio Shack...or most likely cheaper at an online store like Newegg.com.

But on older cars, like someone else said, you wil have to probably buy a stereo in order to get that option.

if u tryna listen to that in your ride then u should have just bought the adapter. you get a lot better quality music than the transmitter....those are only koo if u wanna just listen to the music on a normal boom box or whatever.

The quality on those things isn't the best but if you can get a cheap one then why not if you don't have the aux input available on your deck. Griffin I trip is decent it gets alright reception. I used a gift card to buy mine but it was 30 bucks.
