As I stated in the other thread.. Quik contradicts himself as the seasons change. I asked when was the last artist he broke into the industry? Some said Mausberg...well Thats been close to 10 years, and even though mausberg was talented does not mean the album was highly successful, or would've been any more if he had lived to promote it. Bottom line is if you are making music today and doing well, and have broke some new artists into the game over the past few years (I say this cause shit changes every few years anyways) Then you probably know what the fuck you are talking about. If not then its just an opinion and you should state it as such and not as if artists who do what they do are dumb cause you think so.
Now Quik is talented but if he realyl knew what he was talking about and new what it takes to make it, then why did his last few albums ( Which i enjoyed) not do so well? Why is he not signed to the biggest labels, have big production deals?
