i called them a couple of weeks cause my bill was too high, and my contract was almost up so they said they will throw in sunday ticket for a 1 year extension.. for the Viacom issue the are giving $5 off . but i ask if theres any other discounts they could offer. she then came back with another discount of $10 for six months. When you first call say "Cancellation" and they will redirect you to the same department the sent me to ...

I prefer Comcast, & it is due to the interface, reception & pricing.
breh, pricing is ultimatly up to you. i fucked with Comcast for the discount time frame. when my discount time was up, i moved to U-Verse. now my U-Verse discount time is up so i got Comcast fuckin with me this saturday. after this Comcast discount is up, im fuckin with U-Verse again. you can see where im goin with this, player. plus when you keep goin back to Comcast or U-Verse as a "new" customer, you get the free premium channel upgrades and some pretty dope gift cards. you just gotta look for the deals. you cant do that kind of shit fuckin with the Dish's.

i feel you on the Comcast interface tho.

I bet those channels will be back soon enough. They took the WB off there programing too a couple months back. It was back on in like a week.

IMO i think the picture on direct tv looks better then on comcast plus you can record programs. I had comcast for a long time and usually had to call and cuss them out about once every 6 months to keep my bill the same.

Comcast some sneaky fuckers they'll try to raise your bill by $20 on the low and not say shit about it until you notice. Still got em for internet and i'm proly gonna have to put my bi-annual foot in they ass again!

Winner! This is ultimately the best way to keep a low price and get the best channels, and the thing about Comcast and U-verse is they don't lock you into 2 year contracts like Dish and DirecTV do.

DirecTV has On Demand.....
No comparison. DirecTV barely has any stuff On Demand and you have to download it to watch it.

Comcast has over 75,000 choices On Demand that you can watch instantly.. Not to mention the recently launched Xfinity Stream Pix with another 7,000 choices. And you can go to XfinityTV.com or get the app and watch most of that online.

I sound like I work for them or something huh?

comcast is terrible, direct tv shits all over them, its not even a comparison what so ever

sunday ticket>anything comcast has to offer

and who ever said they try to raise your price without you knowing is completely right, thats what made me leave that shit company in the first place, it wasnt two times a year it was like every other month....fuck comcast!

getting ready to leave comcast since my promotional period is up but Uverse doesnt service my area so i gotta go fuck with dish or direct tv. I got a question for the folks who have either of them, after the first promotional year do they rape you in rates?

I've had direct TV for 5 years and I will never leave. Fuck Viacom. You're gonna get locked up for 2 years but you will get the best picture quality of any satellite/cable providers. After your 2 year deal is done, you will get bumped up like $10 a month but its no big deal. You will get free Sunday ticket, which is so fuckin worth it, and free HBO, showtime, etc., free for 3 months as well.

On demand isn't great, but just set your DVR for shit you love and u won't have to worry about on demand. Shitty part about DVR is you can only record 2 things at once, but if you have multiple receivers that doesn't matter. Reason being that they link all your dvr's together so that whatever one room records, u can watch in another room.

As I said, once your 2 yr deal ends, they will bump you up some money, but just sign up for 2 more years and they keep giving you free shit like programming and equipment upgrades. You can always refer a friend and get $100 off your bill (broken up $10 a month). Both you and your friend get that discount. If you decide to go with direct TV, PM me so we can both get the discount lol
