i was at this party on Sat night, i was really DRUNK, so i started sayin spittin sum bay slang to some chicks, BUT i ALWAYS gave props to the creator after i said it, i don't know, call it a respect thing, but i was like "yadidiamean gurl, what up Keak ?", then i said "i'm a smoke a bleezy, mac dre said that", so i can see why people get madd !!!
We need to make rappers acknowledge the originator of the slang words they're using within one bar of when they say it in their verse. How else can we expect the Bay to blow up? Oh also this only applies to Bay Area slang that people use in other areas... If people in the Bay Area use slang from other regions this rule doesn't apply because...... Just because.
lol why is everybody sayin this hyphy shit iz the bay style?? wat just cuz u seen treal tv and mimmic ur favorite rappers lingo u down with that hyphee shit now cmon! maybe town shit but I wasnt seeing nobody up on the hyphy craze back in 03 matter fact 02 .. LOL now its 05 it took 3 years for bay folk to get on the hype!
i'm seein a lot of non cali and non bay slang in the bay now, like Treal (mac dre's treal t.v.), stunnaz (i heard that gay shit on hot boys song), and grimey (i always thought the new york used to say this shit alot for a long ass time not sure if they still do), and even the whole NY gay ass rappin style (mistah f.a.g., ya boy, frontline..) where they say "ok" and "mami" or "chick" ( we always used to say trick or bitch lol) a 100 times in they shit....
