Dining in the dark. Has anyone been..or would?

the website says you go into a lighted room when u first get there. check ur purses / bags in since u wont need them and pick what u want for dinner ahead of time. then they lead u into a pitch black room. ur waiters/waitresses are blind or visually impaired and taught to serve in the dark (why they would have to be taught to serve in the dark when they are already blind doesnt make much sense to me, but that's what it says). It also says they have security gaurds in the room to make sure u are safe.
seems pretty fuckin pointless to me. might be a cool experience but for $99 a person, I'll pass. I wouldnt pay that much for dinner anywhere, let alone a place where I cant even see the whole time. Just tie a blind fold over my eyes and I'll do this shit at home.

Plenty of times and nothing was better than before the lights went out.
Actually, it is COMPLETELY there...as the whole point of this experience is that when your blind, your other senses are heightened, i.e. taste, smell...which is supposed to make the food BETTER...right?

i havent sat around and done extentsive studies on how humans work in the dark, but im willing to try..sounds fun.

this sounds like some dumb ass shit. What if there's like hella fucked up shit in your food and you don't see it cuz you're in the dark? The food should be less if there's no lights fuck that. Sounds like it would make the meal hella longer too. Waste of time and money. This is some White people shit.
