Yeah, I'm Mexican myself and I don't like seeing that shit. Those are the pussy @ss fools that ain't got respect for their own culture. I say if your Mexican or anything non-black, be yourself, act your race. You should rep your culture in some way and have respect for it. Never would you find me saying "nigga," that's hella disrespect IMO. Instead, you might find me saying something universal, like Bro, dog, homie, G, dude, but that's about it. Yeah, it's understandable for some that grew up with only but blacks, but other than that, fuck that shit, it ain't right and it sure as hell doesn't look right. Bottomline is the Youth jocks Black America HARD because of their success with HipHop, Sports and Comedy, I don't, but I do have a lot of respect for African Americans since they do rep hard for their shit and ain't afraid to do so, but jocking them to the point where I try to be black, hell nah. Blacks are who they are and I'm who I am as a Mexican. Why do you think Mexicans came up with Chicano Rap, reason being is they have respect for blacks and they have Pride for their own Mexican culture. That's the pride, have pride in your race, not in someone elses race. I understand it's cool to respect other cultures, but not to the point where you completely forget about your own. That's why I do have a bit of respect for Whiteboys who do actually act white and rep their shit with confederate flags, ride dirt bikes, listen to hard rock and shit like that, atleast their down to be white, lol.
Well, a Mexican sure as hell shouldn't say "nigga." That's the main point I was trying to make. "Nigga" is for blacks to use and some of them even despise that word since they know it's not a good word, Mexicans or any other race for that matter shouldn't have any say in that word! It ain't our word, simple as that.
And as far as how Mexicans should act, I don't think it means you should act like or look like a cholo, just I think you should be more neutral. Be aware of what your culture has to offer as well. Seems like a lot of Mexicans hate on their own race, calling eachother beaner, not wanting or embarrased to speak Spanish, etc... It's like their embarrased or ashamed to be Mexican or something, that's why they choose to act and dress like blacks. Most of these fully Americanized Mexicans seem to look down on pollitos too, I don't, I think that's sad homie. Of course society doesn't make it happen like that though because with all the clothing out there these days and if you want to dress like you belong to the hiphop scene, your bound to end up looking like a Black guy, there's no doubt about that. There's nothing wrong with dressing like a black guy, but I do truely believe brands like Fubu, Rocawear, SouthPole, Ecko, G-Unit, Sean John, etc.. where designed for the black man in mind. Their all too colorful or too exaggerated for my taste. Big reason why I don't choose to wear that clothing, it ain't for me. As much as I do like Hiphop, it ain't going to drive me to the point where it forces me to dress like it. I still bend the bills of my baseball caps homies or wear them backwards, while everyone else is stuck on these big ass retarded hats with str8 bills the size of jupiter's rings.
