and that brings me to another whole diff subject.....artist who make a song/album, keep it on the low, no promotion, "make sure no one get's a copy of it", dont let no one listen to it.....drop it...and expect it to blow up and hit the radio automatically.....lol.....what happened to handing out promo's, snippets, singles?

prime example...dont think we stupid and think this song is NEW,,,i BUY mac dre's albums, I know its old..but the streets kept callin for it...everywhere Id go id hear some youngsters talkin about it... finally got the clean version, and rolled wit it. big ups to Scocious for helpin me illustrate my point.

I think this is one of the reasons that labels have a promotions department so "professionsals" can deal wit hthe radio stations. A reason to have a publicist is so your artist won't go on the radio half-cocked and put his foot in his mouth talking shit and get his song pulled. I don't think the Town Bizness song is hurting though because I hear people bumping it all the time everywhere. It's the ultimate Oakland banger.
