DHB would have more catches if Gradkowski had been the starter all 6 games. Our passing game is way more efficient when that wack mothafucka Campbell aint in there except those 2 drives he had against the Chargers. Face it yall cant label DHB a bust anymore as much as yall wanna discredit the Raiders any way possible.

WR's drafted in the 09' draft in the 1st round.

7. Drops Hella Balls
10. Mike Crabtree
19. Jeremy Maclin
22. percey harvin
29.Hakeem nicks
30. Kenny Britt

lol at everyone being better than dhb and probably getting about half of what dhb gets paid to drop hella balls. DHB = Bust!

That's BS^ He hasn't been dropping passes this year. He has stepped up whenever his number has been called, they don't call his number enough. One of those trick plays yesterday should've of went to DHB, especially that reverse.
He hasn't been dropping passes because he hasn't been targeted all that much. There has to be a reason his number isn't called.

As for the reverses.. Maybe they feel Murphy has better skills with the ball in his hand. For some reason the Niners like to run reverses to Delanie Walker and they never work. I have no idea why they choose him, but they obviously think he has some moves or something because they allow him to return kickoffs too. It's fuckin retarded.

DHB is another Ted Ginn Jr., minus the moves Ginn makes with the ball in his hands and the kick/punt return skills. They're both fast as hell, but neither runs crisp routes and both have suspect hands.

DHB started off his season on a decent note, but has fizzled out since. He seems like a decoy to open the field more than a real option on pass plays. Only problem with that is he doesn't scare anyone enough for them to bite.

Crabtree was nursing a sore neck throughout training camp and the preseason, so he was behind in terms of his ability to get in sync with the rest of the offense. His play in the last 3 games makes it obvious he's starting to settle in.

Bottom line, Heyward-Bey was a project WR and you simply don't take projects with a top-10 pick. He might evolve into a decent threat, but he's not even close to being there yet. If the raiders were wise, they would have tried to trade back and stock up on extra picks, then take DHB after Crabtree, Maclin and Harvin were off the board because nobody was going to take him over any of them except the raiders.

Crabtree is clearly the better receiver and was clearly the better receiver from the beginning.

It's too early to label DHB a bust. You can make that judgment in a couple years, but he definitely hasn't done anything to prove he otherwise - yet. Personally, I think he'll develop into a decent receiver down the line, but he'll never be worth the 7th overall pick, especially when there were 4 other receivers chosen after him that are clearly better as we speak and were better coming out of college.

Both are on shitty teams not doing anything

Maclin, Harvin, Nicks, Wallace, Collie are shittin on both of them....Can't blame them if they don't have a top or decent QB throwing to either of them.

my bad... i was being honest.. i didnt think he had 1. And i really am havinga hard time believing this thread is still going. week after week, Crabtree out plays DHB.
the reason this thread is still going is because Niners fans keep bringing it back to talk shit

I think the only Raiders fan here who ever claimed DHB was or would be better is Tony

every other Raiders fan was pissed that we picked DHB, he has looked better this season, but still nowhere near a number one overall pick

nobody had posted in this thread since 9/3... and ironlungs brought it back on Sunday to talk shit

that's why this thread is still going... not because we're defending DHB, but because your fan base wants to keep comparing the 2 receivers, when we don't fucking care

I agree with everyone's opinion, but I still would like to see Heyward-Bey targeted more in our offense. Gradowski seems to get him more involved in the offense when he's in at qb.
