season 1 and 2 and 4 were great. season 3s surrounding stories were good but the main killer they were looking for was a weak character, the skinner didn't have shit on Lithgows role as the trinity killer.

i think season 5 woulda been better to people is season 4 just wasnt so damn good. it really didnt top it AT ALL. but i think they have the right actors and writers to make a very good season 6. we shall see.

season 4 and 5 were so fucking boring it was amazing people watched it. i think starting with the 4th season they wrote a 2 or 3 sentence summary of what the season was gonna be about then had the janitor expand it to 12 hours worth of material. i stopped watching an episode or 2 into season 5 and i probably wont watch the new season. the books are a million times better than the show.

i thought season 4 was a ton better than 2 and 3. nothing will ever top the 1st season IMO but i thought 4 was very well directed and acted and there was so much intense scenes.
