why is it a racist law? i hope you are not trying to say that white people dont ever get drug convictions.

this law doesnt say if you are white with a drug conviction this does NOT apply to you only to minorityies. it is for ALL people

I wouldn't say its racist, more like classist (is that a word?) cuz look at it this way, rich and poor all do drugs, but takin loans away don't bother the rich, their parents can pay for that shit easy, but on the otherside the poor get fucked cuz they can't afford to go to school....

it just as well might be if they are going to LOAN you 10,000 dollars and not charge you interest and allow you to pay after you graduate at a rate of about 100 dollars a month.

why should the government be required to HAVE to give you a LOAN.

You also have to realize that by getting a higher education, not only are you paying the loan back, but you are adding to the economic developement of our country by holding an important job that pays good money. By spending all that money, you are making the economy stronger, denying loans to drug offenders trying to enter college is a joke, it slows the cycle of economic growth.
