Stressed in VERB form...

1. To place emphasis on: stressed basic fire safety.
2. To give prominence to (a syllable or word) in pronouncing or in accordance with a metrical pattern.
3. To subject to physical or mental pressure, tension, or strain.
4. To subject to mechanical pressure or force.
5. To construct so as to withstand a specified stress.
In order for the word to be SLANG, it would have to have the same meaning as the word replaced. (Actually, a lot of the time slang is used in a derogatory manner...and if not, it is usually a group of words made up at some point in time, but along the same lines as the original word, i.e fa sheezy=fa shizzle=fa sho=for sure)

If I'm wrong with the above statement you quoted, so be it, I stand corrected, but that doesn't take away from the fact that STRESSED is not a slang word for SAID...
WHIP and COCK, are 2 of the goofiest words (the way they are used TODAY), that I have ever heard. I don't know who started using those words in the context they are used, and it makes no sense to me. To each his own I guess.

That's all good, I don't say WORD IS BOND anyhow. I have folks that say it who came out here from New York, but I personally never have used it in conversation. What's the big deal anyway? Like people in New York don't say things that we say out here?

Most rappers say DICK (or pussy), and ride...and only recently has WHIP become a cool term to use, in the past couple years. I try to refrain from using certain words because everybody else uses 'em. Whip, chopper, etc. Should I talk about chrome spinners too? Or how cool my car is? Or what kinda jewels I'm wearing? I don't follow the trend, I do my own thing.
