Anyway, the reason why some homeboys aren't with the whole brown pride thing is because back in the day there were a bunch of foos claiming to be "Brown Priders," dressing all cholo but not banging. But some of them would back up scraps. Other times, when scraps would get hit up, they would claim they were Brown Priders to get a pass, and then they would come back an hour later with their homies throwing up 13s.

That's why you got some rappers like Tokztero who say "Use'd to be down with Brown Pride but now chale."

Then you got others like Big Tone saying "Puro Mexicano Pride", and Disko Gotti rapping "we get down with brown pride in the Northside."

Fuck letting a scrap make you ashamed of who and what you are. I'm proud of being mexican and being brown. I got the mexican flag on my wall. There's still varrio's that got Brown Pride in their name, homeboys that got that tatted, and I got much respect for them.
